Quest Mounts Bay Road is a 4.5-star apartment-style hotel offering 66 serviced apartments With gym facilities, an on-site café and full kitchen and laundry facilities. Situated in the southwest and extending across the Swan River's north bank, the CBD and the University of Western Australia, Quest Mounts Bay Road caters for both business and leisure travellers to Perth.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Multi-site General Manager, the Housekeeping Supervisor role offers an exciting opportunity to
- Oversee recruitment, training, rostering, and supervision of the Housekeeping team to maintain operational excellence and ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Guide and mentor the housekeeping team to maintain optimal productivity, quality, and positive employee engagement and retention.
- Manage expenditures related to labour and materials within budgetary constraints. This includes preparing team rosters based on occupancy levels, negotiating with suppliers for favourable purchasing terms, and optimising room cleaning times to meet budget expectations.
- Maintain room cleanliness according to established procedures, and ensuring the upkeep of common areas in accordance with company standards and protocols outlined in the Housekeeping Manual.
- Maintain adequate stock levels of essential items, including appliances, utensils, linen, chemicals, and equipment, to ensure efficient cleaning and preparation of guest rooms and common areas.
- Respond courteously and accurately to guest inquiries, with an emphasis on anticipating their needs. Resolving customer issues, complaints, and problems promptly and efficiently to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Ensure the safety of guests and staff by adhering to procedures and promptly reporting any suspicious activity.
- Ensure the application to Quest’s established brand, housekeeping manual and Quest Way.
The ideal candidate will:
- Previous leadership and people management experience in an accommodation environment is essential
- Demonstrated proficiency in Housekeeping with a solutions-orientate problem solving focus.
- Positive, proactive attitude towards task and passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Genuine interest in a career in the serviced apartment accommodation industry
