Housekeeping Team Leader

Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, resort shop and a full service Day Spa and Hair Salon, Chahoya.We are currently seeking ten (10) Housekeeping Team Leaders to join our Housekeeping Department on a Full Time basis. The successful applicant will be employed on a Full-Time basis working 38hrs per week, commencing in March 2025 for a duration of up to 4 years.You will need be be available to work day and afternoon shifts as well as weekend shifts. Though this may change from time to time.The key duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:To train and lead staff to meet Room Standard guidelines
Liaison between housekeeping and other departments, ensuring all housekeeping issues and communications are handled professionally, efficiently and thoroughly
Ensure all staff learn, understand and demonstrate all security, safety and hygiene components of the role
Assist Executive Housekeeper in maintaining staff morale and advising of any personnel issues that arise
And other duties consistent with the role of Housekeeping Team LeaderThe work you will be doing is hard and physically demanding. It will involve e.g. reaching above your head or bending over for long periods of time. You will be working both indoors and outdoors in hot and humid conditions with temperatures up to 25-45 degrees Celsius.
