Offering a comprehensive range of forward-thinking supply chain and traditional trade solutions, the business has been repeatedly recognised by the industry’s most prominent publications and associations with numerous awards for its strength in combining innovation and service excellence with end-to-end customer solutions.Taking on the role of Director - Structuring and Solutions, reporting Directly to the Head of Structuring and Solutions, you will interface with colleagues in Global Banking and Commercial Banking to originate and structure complex solutions to support large and mid-sized domestic corporates, as well as multinational clients. You will provide your technical expertise to support the frontline GTS Business Development Managers, assisting in structuring bespoke open account solutions, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.You will be joining the world’s largest Trade bank in a role with a primary focus on structured trade, working across multiple sectors, utilising your solutions focused expertise with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, often at a senior level.   • Supporting the growth of structured propositions in GTS to senior stakeholders in the Global Banking and Markets and Commercial Banking’s Corporate businesses to ensure a flow of origination and requests for proposals.
  • Applying your technical expertise in all Structured Trade products including Receivables Finance, Asset Based Lending, Supply Chain Finance and other structured open account solutions across geographies utilising your understanding of market trends and developments.
  • Leading the preparation and negotiation of customer facing documents, pitch books and indicative term sheets.
  • Providing the detailed financial benefit analysis and supporting information for each customer request.
  • Staying abreast on key market trends and competitors’ market position on an ongoing basis.
  • Supporting Structured Trade learning and development for the GTS sales and relationship management community.
  • Establishing best practises in structuring complex transactions across all geographies by building networks with global, regional and local colleagues.
RequirementsRequirements:
  • Knowledge of Trade Finance structures at a global level with experience working with global/multinational financial departments, supply chain, pre-export finance, and/or commodity finance.
  • Demonstrated experience closing large ticket structured trade finance deals.
  • Thorough understanding of Working Capital cycles and working capital management concepts.
  • Very strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to effectively understand a client’s problem statement and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience working across a number of international markets, with the ability to manage culturally diverse client and colleague engagements across the globe.
  • Strong knowledge of Receivables Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Asset Based Lending/Borrowing Base lending, and other structured Open Account solutions, including knowledge of trends and market developments.
  • Proven ability to navigate a cross-functional and matrix organisational model.
  • Be a strong independent contributor, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with Treasury functions, CFOs, Finance Directors and internally with frontline Relationship Managers.
