5:2 Roster - Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
We are seeking a Housing and Property Cleaner who takes pride in their work and is willing and able to perform a diverse range of duties to the quality, health, safety, and environmental standards of our team.
About the candidate
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- prior experience in a professional cleaning role with attention to detail;
- knowledge of safe chemical handling practices;
- a proactive, collaborative approach and a commitment to safety;
- ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work unsupervised;
- ability to carry out manual handling tasks with an understanding of safe work practices;
- understand of basic maintenance terminology; and
- excellent communication skills and ability to interact with tenants.
Specific duties
- daily cleaning of Talison owned properties and housing;
- daily completion of maintenance timesheet to record work time against work orders;
- daily completion of Job Safety Analysis;
- adherence to site safety systems and procedures;
- daily performance of housekeeping tasks during and after cleaning to ensure safe work areas;
- maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials, and report any deficiencies to supervisor;
- participation in the development and review of work-safe procedures;
- reporting any maintenance issues to the supervisor;
- work within the community, promoting Talison Values on an as-required basis; and
- attend monthly toolbox and morning pre-start meetings.

Competencies:
Current Manual Drivers Licence.
