About the role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HR Advisor to join our growing team at the Perth Airport. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, with the possibility of part-time for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high level support to the employee lifecycle which encompasses, recruitment, employee promotions, change in employee conditions, probation, and terminations.
- Interpret and provide advice regarding human resources policies and procedures, EBA and Awards.
- Offer guidance and support to HR Administrators to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Management of Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and HR Intranet page.
- Development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
- Preparation of monthly reports specifically to provide decision makers with the necessary insights and data for informed decision-making.
- Undertake project work or HR initiatives as directed by the HRM e.g. Workplace Gender Equality Reporting, Reconciliation Action Plan, etc.
- Updating of internal templates and ensure policies and procedures are implemented where possible.
- Identify training needs for business units as required. Evaluate and monitor the success of all development programs.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Tertiary qualified in HR or related area and relevant experience in HR or related field.
- Experience in interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements to provide advice to managers and employees.
- Experience in providing advice to managers and employees in all aspects of human resources, employee, and industrial relations.
- Project management particularly in managing a HR-related project from beginning to end.
- Analytical skills.
- Sound computer skills in Microsoft applications.
