We are currently seeking experienced HR Drivers to join our team in Waste and Recycling for local government. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles to collect and transport waste and recycling materials for council pick-up.
HR Driver - Waste and Recycling
Location: South Sydney
Type: Full time - Ongoing work
Pay rates: $36ph plus over time and super
Shift: Monday-Friday 6.00am-3pm (Weekend work optional)
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy vehicles to collect and transport waste and recycling materials
Conduct pre-start checks on vehicles and report any defects
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Maintain accurate records of collections and deliveries
Provide excellent customer service to residents and businesses
Requirements:
Valid HR driver's license
White Card
Experience in waste and recycling operations preferred
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends
