About the role:
At Achieve Head Office in North Ryde, we currently have a HR administration role available for a maximum term of 12 months, serving as a maternity leave cover within the People, Performance and Culture department. This position offers flexibility in terms of being a hybrid role, allowing you to choose between working full-time or part-time (with a minimum of 28 hours per week).
The role with be supporting the Employee Services Team with the following tasks:
Onboarding new starters into the HRIS
Processing employee change of conditions
Handling HR inbox queries and escalating as necessary.
Tracking employee end dates and following up with the relevant manager for updates.
Supporting the probation process
Preparing statements of service or information as requested by employees or other stakeholders
Conducting compliance reporting and sending out necessary notifications
Performing renewal checks for worker screenings of existing employees
Processing employee cessations in the HRIS and filing related paperwork
Generating reports and managing associated awards
Assisting with parental and study leave applications
Maintaining and updating organizational charts.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will address the following criteria:
Qualifications completed or in progress in Human Resources or relevant studies.
Minimum of 12 months experience in HR administration position or equivalent.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment with highly confidential information.
Good administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and directions.
Strong computer literacy in Microsoft suites, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience using ELMO (preferred, but not essential)
