Key Responsibilities:
HR Function:
- Recruitment: Manage job postings, candidate outreach, screening, interviews, and onboarding. Liaise with recruitment partners as needed.
- Training & Development: Update training plans and coordinate with global HR on learning initiatives.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance and potential development processes in collaboration with global HR.
- Employee Benefits: Assist in benchmarking and local initiatives to attract and retain talent.
- Compliance: Maintain employee records and ensure adherence to local legislations and regulations.
- Contract Review: Support Sales and Management with contract reviews, ensuring compliance with global policies.
- Risk Management: Minimise business risks and ensure they remain within acceptable levels. Manage Contract Risk registry.
- Coordination: Work with global legal teams and local CA team for comprehensive support.
- Report to General Manager
- Collaborate with Managing Director and global HR and legal teams.
- Support from Finance & Admin, Sales, Engineering Sales, and Program Management.
- Proven experience in HR and legal functions within a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of local employment laws and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team setting.
- A Degree in Business, Commerce or Law or a Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline
- Prior experience working in Electrical, Construction, Civil Engineering or Consultancy firm- highly regarded
- Please note, this role may require travel – approximately quarterly nationally. Possible international travel at most annually.
