Lawton Macmaster Legal is a boutique law firm that practices predominantly in the resources legal space seeking an experienced Legal Secretary/PA to join our small team. The successful candidate will be working closely with one of our Principals who has over 50 years industry experience (as well as the broader team when required). High attention to detail, working well under pressure and good interpersonal skills would make you an excellent addition to our office.
The Role
- Typist duties including drafting legal documents & correspondence through digital Dictation
- Court brief compilation
- Wills/EPA/EPG creation
- Provide high-level admin/ secretarial support
- End of month Billing
- Shared reception cover duties including answering phones, meet and greet of Clients
Skills & Experience
- Accurate/efficient typing
- High-level use of MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and confidentiality
- Experience in Succession & Mining Law is desirable but not essential
- Experience with Actionstep is desirable but not essential
