Join a high performing US headquarterd manufacturing company in what will be a mix of a strategic and operational role. You will be responsible for a 50/50 split of white and blue collar employees and be involved in the full employment lifecycle. You will have 2 direct reports reporting into you and will be responsible for their professional development. This role is hybrid and based in South Sydney (parking available)
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

* Manage a small team of 2 direct reports
What you'll do:
As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation (a US headquartered manufacturing organisation). You will be responsible for managing the annual performance review process, guiding senior managers on complex HR issues, promoting internal training programs, leading global HR initiatives, driving operational excellence in HR processes, and managing remuneration programs. Your ability to influence change at all levels will be key to your success in this role.
* Manage the annual performance review process by working with the Global HR team and coordinate with local leadership and employees.
* Guide and coach senior managers on employee relations and complex HR issues in line with Company policies.
* Promote, manage and deploy necessary internal training & compliance programs.
* Take lead and deliver HR initiatives such as talent development, employee engagement, management development program, and organisational change management.
* Facilitate and manage people development/talent conference to build leadership capability.
* Initiate HR Operational excellence by reviewing and standardising the Recruitment, Onboarding, Induction, & Termination process across ANZ
* Update and maintain the HRIS (SuccessFactors)
* People manage a team of 2 direct reports
* Lead and manage the remuneration and benefits program in line with Group guidelines for the region.
* Lead the negotiations of the 2 Enterprise Agreements in place (no need to be renegotiated for 18 months)
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Manager position brings significant experience in HR leadership roles within global organisations. You possess tertiary degree qualifications in Human Resources or related disciplines. Your extensive knowledge of Australian employment legislation coupled with your experience working for a US multinational organisation in the manufacturing and distribution business will be highly valued. Your excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication and organisational skills will enable you to effectively manage relationships at all levels within the organisation.
* 5 - 10 years of HR leadership experience
* Tertiary degree qualifications in a Human Resources discipline
* Experience negotiating EAs
* Very good knowledge and experience of Australian employment legislation
* Experience working in a global organisation with understanding of local employment legislation
* Experience working for a multinational organisation in blue collar space
* Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication and organisational skills
