Job description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a full-time experience Business Development Manager.  

This role will assist in driving our Business Development strategy across our global retailer channels. We are looking for someone with a passion for beauty, wanting an exciting career with enthusiastic drive to be a part of a company that is innovating and disrupting the norms of the industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Australian retailer accounts across all brands. Work together with current retailers to create strong business plans and deliver sales growth. Launch brands in new retailers and build plans to set the brands up for success.
  • Support the senior sales team to negotiate, deliver and manage the launch plans for new business in EU & ROW including Australia and Asia, in line with business objectives and goals
  • Negotiate head of terms to ensure best commercial deal for the business and maximise exposure for launch.
  • Report against KPI’s, initiatives and commercial opportunities to maximise sales growth.
  • Assist in identifying and qualifying new retailer partnership opportunities to meet sales forecast.
  • Utilise available customer data to provide insights into our customers’ behaviours and how this can be used to drive growth across our retailer channels.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure consistent service to partners.
  • Work with the marketing, product and supply chain teams on product launches and supporting marketing to deliver growth across all brands and geographical markets.
  • Work closely with all the commercial leads to develop commercial strategies that will capitalise on new opportunities internationally, in all sales activities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure consistent service to partners.
  • Ensure commercial terms and contracts are negotiated and processed inline with senior direction, and support the sales team with new business set up process
  • Work collaboratively with supply chain on all new business opportunities, to ensure forecasts are built and submitted and all launch timescales are met
  • Ensure a 360-marketing support plan for launch into new markets/or retailers by working with retail marketing and marketing teams

SKILLS

  • Possess relevant experience in Business Development and sales management
  • Track record of delivering consistent year-on-year sales success.
  • Able to lead complex sales and think strategically and tactically.
  • Able to understand client objectives, challenges and effectively articulate and negotiate high value partnerships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to interact with Senior Management and external clients and agencies.
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Highly organized and able to see multiple projects through completion
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative, and energetic. 
  • Strong commercial awareness.
