About the role
As the HR & QA Manageryou will be reporting directly to the Managing Director of the business at their North Sydney head office. This is a role with a lot of variety and scope to grow within the business, a great opportunity to expand your knowledge base for the right person!
Key Responsibilities
As the successful applicant for this role, you will be responsible for;
- All Human resoursces and recruitment processes.
- Completing certain operational tasks
- Payroll management
- Managing a team of crew coordinators
- Certifying visas, documentation, reference checking and the interview process
- Assisting with workers compensation
- Online training courses
- Accounts approvals and other adhoc duties
Skills & experience
- A minimum of 5+ years in the same role - preferably with shipping industry experience or working for a shipping vessell company - managing vessells!
- Possess excellent attention to detail, phone manner and communication skills
- Be professionally presented
- Ability to multi task
- Relevant qualifications and certifications
