With over 17 years' experience servicing the Building & Construction industry we pride ourselves on our commitment to safety, reliability and professionalism and are currently seeking skilled and dependable Truck Drivers to strengthen our growing team.
The Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting a variety of goods and materials over various routes in a safe and timely manner. The position requires attention to detail, good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following -
- HR License
- HC License
- White Card
- Forklift
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver
- Strong knowledge of driving laws and regulations
- Proven experience in load restraint
- Strong knowledge of Adelaide roads
The following would be advantageous -
- Telehandler
- Experience with over-dimensional loads
- CV, DG
Tasks & Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to -
- Safely operate a commercial heavy vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Daily pre-starts (completed on app)
- Daily run-sheets (completed on app)
- Restraint of various sized and shaped loads
- Transport of various materials/equipment locally, intrastate/interstate
- Oversize loads
- Maintenance and upkeep of Truck/Equipment
- Site setup
- Adhere to company COR & WH&S policies and procedures
- Site Inductions (where required)
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers and fellow team members
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time
There is a 3-month probation period with view to fulltime position.
Remuneration is negotiable dependent on level of experience.
Note: A Police Clearance & Working with Children Clearance is compulsory upon acceptance of employment, along with the completion of a Fit to Drive / Pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening at our expense.
