Brunel International is looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join our clients team in Darwin. This is a permanent role and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing HSE advice, monitoring and promoting incident reporting, and supporting injury management. The HSE Advisor will be responsible for providing professional advice on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) matters. The successful candidate will be required to monitor and promote incident reporting, investigate incidents, provide feedback on corrective actions, develop HSE plans and procedures, support injury management processes, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills as they will be required to interact with a range of stakeholders including management, employees and external agencies. They must also have strong problem-solving skills in order to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
Requirements- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
- Proven experience working as an HSE Advisor or similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
