Reporting to the HSE Manager you will be responsible for providing support to corporate and project teams in the delivery of work activities safely and to ensure health, safety & environmental management system compliance and support the development of industry best practice health, safety & environmental initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement, audit and conduct inspections of site specific HSE management systems
- Develop and deliver training packages for HSE initiatives.
- Assist with Hygiene monitoring programs
- Participate in risk assessments, inspections and audits.
- Monitor the implementation of operational safety, health and environmental policies and programs
- Ensure effective communication of HSE policies and procedures across the site
- Inductions and onboarding of new employees
- Conduct incident investigations and issue findings to project team and management teams as required.
- Cert IV OH&S (minimum)
- White Card
- Full, current drivers license
- Minimum intermediate level across the Microsoft office suite of programs
- Previous experience within HSE databases
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of key stakeholders
- Previous underground and/or gold mine experience (Highly desirable)
