As an ECS Coordinator, you will be integral in supporting and developing the team ensuring our clients receive top notch care and our mission vision and values are displayed in everything we do.
The RoleAs a Coordinator, you will play a vital role in monitoring individualized care and support to our Participants, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives. Your primary responsibility will involve supervising support workers in both SIL and in-home support, ensuring top-quality care delivery to our valued Participants. Mentoring staff, learning everything about the client to ensure the team delivers top-notch supports. As a support expert, you will liaise, coach, train, plan, participate and monitor care and support services. Your skills in medication management, clinical skills and care plan development will all be vital to this role.
Qualifications & experienceCurrent AHPRA Registration RN/EN.
Community or disability nursing knowledge and experience.
Team leadership skills.
Sound communication skills.
Sound computer literacy.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provides clinical leadership and direct nursing care.
- Develop, monitor and update individual support plans for clients with a range of physical and/or psychosocial disabilities.
- Provide competency based training, up skilling and ongoing training to support workers using a variety of educational resources available to you.
- Monitor compliance of service delivery to maintain high standards.
- Promote positive team culture, open communication and healthy work place practices.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment within the SIL houses, promoting a sense of belonging and community among Participants.
- Up-hold the Mission, Vision and Values of ECS
- On-boarding of new clients
- Recruitment and orientation of new team members
- Participate in after-hours support on a rotating roster basis.
- Act as a liaison between Participants, their families, and other support services, fostering strong communication and partnerships.
You are a people person. You are passionate about working with people with disabilities and making a difference in the lives of our NDIS participants. You are energetic, positive and upbeat while solving challenges. You thrive working as a part of the team and have a can-do attitude. You are someone with previous team leader experience in the disability industry and can quickly learn our processes.
Mandatory Requirements- AHPRA Registration
- NDIS Screening check.
- NDIS Orientation.
- Valid driver’s license and an insured vehicle.
- Committed to ongoing learning and development.
- Working With Children's Check- Employee (willing to obtain one).
