Hse Advisor - Perm 8/6

Fantastic opportunity to join one of WA's leading mining contractors on a Perm 8/6 basis working across the Goldfields.

Due to continuous growth, our client is looking for an exceptional HSE Advisor available ASAP to join their Goldfields based team to learn, develop and further progress their career, whilst working alongside experienced, dedicated and passionate industry professionals.
Responsibilities:

• Work to a plan linked to site, team and individual KPIs
• Support a culture committed to the HSE programs
• Undertake site inductions and support new team members as they embark on their journey with us.
• Monitor the implementation of operational safety, health, environment and QA policies and programs
• Undertake incident investigations and reporting
• Maintenance of site training matrix
• Consult with site management and advise on HSE matters
• Develop and distribute site specific and general safety information
• Provide advice to Management on HSE legislative requirements

The candidate:

• Minimum Cert IV in WHS/OHS
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a HSE Advisor in a mining environment
• ICAM Trained (essential)
• Current Australian drivers licence
• Experience in Civils, Construction, Haulage (essential)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based software applications and a high level of computer literacy in general;
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of injury management and RTW requirements
