The Role
In this newly created role as the HSE Advisor, you have the opportunity to shape, develop, and cultivate a new era in safety culture, guided by our unique One HSE Culture Framework.
You'll play a key role in overseeing a team of Lineworkers with a focus on the Distribution sector. This hands-on, in-field role enables you to directly engage with Lineworkers, offering leadership in HSE practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and cultivate a safety culture in alignment with UGL's One HSE Culture Framework
- Lead and mentor Operational Teams, focusing on best practices for risk mitigation
- Develop and monitor HSE KPIs, in consultation with Operational Leaders
- Implement tailored safety programmes and initiatives
- Investigate and report on worksite incidents according to UGL and client procedures
- Develop and facilitate customised training programmes for Lineworkers
What You'll Need
- Diploma in Work Health and Safety (WHS) or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a high-risk industry, with Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel
- Exceptional communication skills
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment is a plus
