Are you an experienced instructional designer and/or course developer with proficiency in tools like Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline? This might be the opportunity you are looking for!
As a key member of the Health, Safety and Environment team, you will lead a project to review, update and create safety-focused eLearning modules using sound adult learning principles and seamlessly integrated multimedia, working in collaboration with key stakeholders and our external eLearning content agency. This role will be based at our brand-new office in Macquarie Park and reports directly to the HSE Manager Australia. We offer flexible/hybrid working. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Develop content for engaging eLearning modules to deliver a quality digital learning experience.
- Elevate eLearning content to improve learners' engagement.
- Design and develop eLearning course content that aligns with learning objectives alongside instructional designers and other eLearning developers to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with the e-learning development team to ensure timely delivery of e-learning courses.
- Lead, liaise, manage and work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand capability development needs and priorities required to develop and implement appropriate and effective eLearning training solutions.
- Craft story boards that map out the flow and functionality of e-learning modules.
- Implementing SCORM standards to ensure compatibility with learning management systems (LMS).

What will ensure your success:
- Tertiary qualifications in instructional design, information technology or a related field.
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Some exposure to workplace safety best practice would be an advantage but not essential.
- Solid experience in course development and/or instructional design.
- Strong communication skills and expertise in learning design to create effective online education materials.
- Demonstrated skills in video editing, graphic design, and project management.
- Demonstrated experience in administering an LMS, including the ability to analyse data, report on completion rates, and develop recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Articulate or other authoring tools/software to design, update and evaluate sophisticated online learning content.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and the creation and curation of online learning courses, in collaboration with subject matter experts.
