We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our team in West Perth.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Experienced and competent using MYOB AccountRight Plus
- Timely and accurate processing of creditor transactions
- Ensure supporting documents and approvals are obtained
- Confirm coding of invoiced transactions are correctly allocated and job costed
- Data enter supplier invoices and save all documents electronically
- Setup and maintain supplier accounts
- Reconciliation of creditor statements
- Preparing bank payment runs
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve outstanding issues
- Processing and reconciling credit card transactions
- Processing approved employee reimbursements
To be successful in this role, the below attributes, qualifications and experience are preferred:
- 3+ years relevant experience in an AP role
- Have previous marine and offshore knowledge
- Have a friendly and positive attitude contributing to the overall workplace culture and environment
- Work with accuracy and have strong attention to detail
- Highly organised, motivated and reliable
- Show initiative and be proactive
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Can work in a small team environment
