You will be working for an international Renewable Energy organisation that is currently delivering one of the world's largest Renewable Energy projects. This organisation has been experiencing record growth over the last few years and is currently expanding around the globe. Their APAC headquarters are located right in Melbourne where they have a beautiful office in a central location in the city.
Your new role
In your role as the HSE Program Manager, you will implement HSE programs in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and in alignment with company policies, objectives and goals. You will enjoy a flexible work environment between office, home, and site when needed. Project sites can be based anywhere around the country and are truly some of the most impressive energy projects in the industry currently. The ideal person will have a strong understanding of Renewable Energy construction projects and be able to be adaptable in a fast-paced work environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health and Safety, or other related degree, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years' experience developing HSE programs (Renewable energy experience preferred)
- Areas of expertise include control of hazardous energy, electrical safety standards, PPE, work at heights, fall protection, etc.
- Demonstrated successful experience working with and leading multiple levels within an organisation
- Experience using risk assessment processes, including knowledge of risk management practices and root cause analysis
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across levels and functions
- Experience using an incident and near miss reporting systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
