The purpose of the role is to foster behaviour based safety culture by assisting in implementation and management of safety systems, and cultivating a safety-focused culture at the state level with respect to health safety, workers compensation, environment and quality assurance and to establish the framework for the health, safety and environment (HSE) program, and to actively engage with the Line Management and National in developing, promoting and upholding the HSE programs and supporting plans/initiatives.This role also involves managing workplace injuries and Workers’ Compensation claims, and assisting with the return to work of injured workers, with an emphasis of reduction in Workers’ Compensation premiums.Competitive remuneration package + motor vehicle allowance + onsite parkingGreat team environmentExcellent employee benefitsAbout the CompanyAs one of Australia’s leading security companies, with a national footprint across Australia, MSS Security has unrivalled experience in delivering the highest quality of service & protecting some of the nation’s highest profile sites. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders.Duties include but are not limited to:Attending all case conferences and attending all claims review meetingsAssisting in the management and implementation of HSE systemsImplementing the return to work plan for injured employee’sMaintaining records for all claims, including Claims RegisterSkills & experienceDemonstrated experience in developing, implementing and maintaining HSE systemsExperience of Workers Compensation management within the security or a similar industryDemonstrated knowledge and experience in development of Return to Work Plans and implementation of sameExperience and knowledge of human resource management, including resolving potential Workers Compensation claims and disputesDemonstrated experience and ability to build, maintain and develop strong stakeholder and client relationshipsHow to applyMSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
