The Role

The Health, Safety, Environment & Community (HSEC) Administrator provides a high level of support to the General Manager HSEC&Q as well as providing administrative support to the HSEC Coordinators who are based remotely on our projects.
The position is Monday to Friday but as you develop your skills and learn our business, there will be times when you may be required to attend some of our project sites to assist team mates. Therefore the ability to travel and work remotely on occasion is required.
The primary responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Being the subject matter expert (SME) for our safety systems and programs ensuring all information is relevant and up to date. As the SME you will also provide training and assistance across the business.
- Ensuring training records, qualifications and competency assessments are completed and up to date.
- Managing uniform and PPE ordering and supply to employees and project sites.
- Assist in the preparation of departmental reports with support from the GM HSEC&Q.
- Provide administrative support to site base HSEC Coordinators ensuring all required information is captured, reported and filed appropriately.
To be successful you will need:
- A Certificate III Business Administration (desirable), or equivalent skills and experience.
- To have a valid SA Drivers License (Car).
- A Construction Industry OHS White Card or be willing to obtain.
- To demonstrate a high level of administration skills including good numeric and data entry skills with high attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- To have familiarity with terms associated with WHS legislation and systems (highly regarded).
- The ability to prioritise tasks, be organised and handle competing demands in a busy department.
