HSEQ Advisor - FIFO

Short Summary:
Evolve Talent is excited to announce FIFO (from Perth) vacancies with our facilities management clients in the mining industry. As part of our commitment to excellence in safety and quality, we are seeking motivated and dedicated HSEQ Advisors to join our team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain HSEQ management systems in accordance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and inspections to identify hazards and control measures.
• Provide guidance and support to site teams on HSEQ matters, including toolbox talks and training sessions.
• Monitor and review HSEQ performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Assist in incident investigation and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies on HSEQ matters, representing the company professionally at all times.

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the mining industry is desirable but not essential.
• Strong understanding of HSEQ legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various mine site locations as required.
