An exciting Full Time opportunity has arisen for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join the team, based at our King Park Office.
We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor who will promote HSEQ objectives and standards to meet the requirements of the company’s accreditations and client HSEQ requirements.
Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Submit relevant information on HSEQ system performance to Internal, External parties, clients and assist with developing tender submissions.
- Maintain ARA Fire's Integrated Management System and associated documents.
- Manage the Return to Work of Injured Employees.
- Entry of HSEQ information into the Effective Database, ongoing management of Database information.
- Coordinate project/work site-specific competency verification requirements.
- Manage and implement the Internal Auditing Schedule.
- Manage and implement the Internal System Improvement Request and Non-Conformance report Registers, including regular reporting.
- Manage ARA Fire's correspondence control and document control systems and associated corporate registers.
- Manage the creation and maintenance of client HSEQ management plans.
- Support clients in the completion of risk assessments.
- Manage the development and implementation of a schedule for client HSEQ system audits.
- Lead the process of the completion of incident investigations involving clients, employees, subcontractors or visitors.
- Monitor and report on HSEQ performance for clients against established corporate HSEQ objectives and standards.
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of HSEQ system requirements, including the corporate risk assessment register, emergency response facilities and training for employees.
- Conduct inductions for all new employees when required.
- Promote QA, Safety and Environment within the company by use of noticeboards, toolbox meetings, safety newsletter and training.
The role is essential to our business and as such we are looking for a candidate who meets the criteria listed below:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in HSEQ capacity.
- Cert IV or Diploma in Health, Safety & Environment
- Integrated Management System Auditor beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Proven knowledge of quality systems and HSEQ legislation.
- Sound computer literacy with word processing and spreadsheets.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Sound ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and complex problem solving.
- Willingness to learn and be flexible with duties.
- Willing to travel. The role is based in Kings Park, and travel may be required to our other offices across Australia.
