IEPro are currently working with a privately owned civil contractor who are searching for a Project Manager to lead their teams. The success of this contractor is reinforced by the quality and expertise of their staff, collaborative approach to business and their skill at providing flexible solutions to civil construction challenges. With a strong focus on creating a work environment that supports flexibility and wellbeing, you will be joining a company that shares your enthusiasm for the civil industry and delivering outstanding outcomes. Our client works across SEQ on DTMR & Local Gov projects.
The Role
This roles would suit a safety professional who has a background working in the civil construction space.
In this role, you will be liaising with staff, subcontractors and clients as required. You will complement the existing on-site team with your extensive safety background, communication skills and enthusiasm.
As the HSEQ Advisor, you will
- Develop and continuously enhance the safety culture through the delivery of risk-based safety strategies;
- Provide regular safety advice and direction to site staff;
- Manage the safety system and associated reporting;
- Design, manage and implement risk-based strategies, including on-going improvement of task observation tools, techniques and methodologies.
You will hole hold relevant tertiary qualifications in OH&S or similar along with:
- Proven leadership skills which will enable you to inspire and actively promote a safe workplace culture
- 5 + years of industry experience as a safety professional in civil construction
- Strong interpersonal skills
- $120k - $160k + super
