About the role:As the
Water and Wastewater Coordinator, you will be responsible for the operation and management of the tertiary process water treatment
and Wastewater treatment plants at Tidal River and managing and maintaining
Water and Wastewater reticulation systems and associated pumping stations at Tidal River, ensuring Parks Victoria manages the public health and environmental requirements for this area. You will primarily manage day-to-day operation of the Tidal River
Water and Wastewater treatment facilities, with the objective to provide safe drinking water for customers for
Water and protect human health and the environment for wastewater.
We're looking for someone with:- Extensive experience of safe operations and maintenance works associated with Water and Wastewater treatment facilities
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the appropriate regulations, objectives, and requirements applicable to Parks Victoria's Water and Wastewater treatment facilities
- Satisfactory completion of Certificate III Water Industry Treatment, or equivalent (AQF2)
- Ability to manage time effectively when working alone and unsupervised
