The successful candidate will have exposure to the entire HSEQ function within the business and work closely with the team to develop their skills.

Culture and Benefits Perth Airport location Hands-on experience in a reputable company committed to maintaining high HSEQ standards Discounts with hundreds of retailers at over 9,000 locations across Australia Australia’s largest privately owned Transport Company RIPPA values-driven company with a serious safety culture Career development with extraordinary opportunities on a national scale Fast growing organisation, excellent training, progression, and support Tasks & Responsibilities Undertake workplace injury management activities and assist injured employees in returning to work Assist with claims management of workers compensation claims across multiple jurisdictions Attend medical case conferences with injured employees to facilitate proactive return to work strategies Assist with reviewing pre-employment medicals to identify risk profiles of candidates Assist with identifying injury trends and establishing proactive systems to avoid future injuries Develop and present toolbox presentations Contribute to continual improvement by supporting the assurance and systems function Facilitate risk assessment of non-complex tasks and risk reviews Participate in the development of safe work procedures Assist with and contribute to implementation of activities to prevent workplace fatality, injury, disease and ill health Review compliance with workplace policies and procedures including conducting workplace audits Participate in incident and emergency response Participate in investigations into workplace incidents Assist in implementing actions resulting from incidents, inspections and other audits Engage with, support and provide guidance to HSRs, HSE committees, supervisors and managers Review and maintain HSE and injury management records Support management of the drugs and alcohol testing program Prepare, analyse and report work injury/illness statistics as required Skills and Experience Completed or working towards completion of tertiary qualification in HSE or Allied Health Basic knowledge of WHS legislation, Workers Compensation legislation and HSE principles Highly motivated and proactive Diligent, flexible and dynamic Knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal Skills & Experience Completed tertiary qualification in HSE Basic knowledge of legislation and HSE and Quality and Assurance principles Highly motivated and proactive Diligent, flexible and dynamic Knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
