Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Position Description
· Developing health, safety, environmental and quality project management plans
- Implementing the organisations HSEQ management systems to comply with ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements
- Identifying hazards associated with plant, equipment, materials and work activities
- Completing risk assessments and identifying practical and effective control measures
- Preparing and monitoring compliance with Safe Work Method Statements
- Performing site inspections and audits to ensure that correct procedures are followed, and that workers and subcontractors are adhering to HSEQ requirements
- HSEQ administrative tasks and record keeping
- Providing advice and assistance on HSEQ matters to personnel
- Coordinating the health surveillance monitoring of workers exposed to hazardous materials in the workplace
- Facilitating the incident reporting process and conducting investigations to identify corrective actions
- Coordinating the return to work process
- Delivering company inductions and training
- Organising worker training through external training providers
- Occasional travel within NSW and interstate.
Experience
- 3+ years in a civil construction for tier 1
- General Construction Induction White Card
- Full Drivers Licence
- Experience with the MS Office Suite

Desirable experience and qualifications

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Return to Work Coordinator Training
