HSE/WHS officer Open Pit Mining

Drive Personnel's continued efforts to secure Permanent roles inside the Mining Resource & Infrastructure sector has once again been rewarded with multiple roles across various sites in WA. 

Roles

WHS Advisors (multiple) are needed to support our clients growing efforts in major Haulage, Mining and civil projects on a number of sites through our the State.

• 8/6 roster 
• FIFO EX Perth 
• Great Salary and Benefits on offer

Qualifications 

• Certificate IV or Diploma OHS/WHS
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass a Pre-employment medical + DAS
• Use of Safety Management Software (MYOSH or similar)
• Knowledge and understanding of regulatory framework for Work Health and Safety (state and national)
• ICAM Investigation Trained
• Working Knowledge of Injury Management and Return to Work requirements
• Acting as the first point of contact for WHS queries and advice
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Passion for safety management

Duties/Requirements 

• Conduct hazard and risk assessments on various activities in a Civil, Haulage or Open pit environment
• Healthy pro active conversations around health and safety on site 
• Continuous management of site skill's and training matrixes 
• Excellent communication verbal and written 
• maintaining client and internal relationships 
• Ensuring all incidents a reported and documented to site standards and legislative requirements 
• Support our clients Management process of all incidents and injuries
