Position summary
Downer Rail Systems Engineering (RSE) have been delivering Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance works for over 10 years across New Zealand and Australia . Our continued success has led to the need to further grow our Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance Team through the engagement of a Human Factors Engineer.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the SESA state manager, you will be supporting the development of Human Factors documentation, undertaking analysis tasks or interpreting data analysis to support enhanced management of Human Factors issues. You will also be assisting in the development of Human Factors Strategy and contributing to Human Factor tenders.
About You:
Tertiary qualification in Human Factors/Psychology with membership of a recognised professional body (HFESA or equivalent).
Experience in Ergonomics and Industrial Design desirable
5 years experience in delivering Human Factors within Infrastructure
Broad Human Factors knowledge base/experience profile
Desire to learn from a wide discipline set
Confident communicator who can interface with multi-disciplinary teams to lead and identify innovative
Human Factor solutions to solve complex organisational problems.
Experience in managing human factors projects within the rail industry and human-system integration will be extremely beneficial.
