Essential Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience
• Demonstrated ability to apply industrial awards, employment legislation, policies, and procedures
• Extensive experience in recruitment and selection services, with a knack for developing effective strategies
• Proven ability to contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs to meet organizational needs
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, both written and oral, fostering effective communication with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to navigate complex issues through legislation, negotiation, and sound judgment
• Demonstrated commitment to applying EEO, WHS, and ethical practice principles, maintaining confidentiality and probity at all times

Desirable Skills:

• Generalist support in areas like industrial relations and learning and development
• Experience delivering training to both individuals and small groups
• Previous experience in Local Government
