Essential Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to apply industrial awards, employment legislation, policies, and procedures
- Extensive experience in recruitment and selection services, with a knack for developing effective strategies
- Proven ability to contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs to meet organizational needs
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, both written and oral, fostering effective communication with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to navigate complex issues through legislation, negotiation, and sound judgment
- Demonstrated commitment to applying EEO, WHS, and ethical practice principles, maintaining confidentiality and probity at all times
- Generalist support in areas like industrial relations and learning and development
- Experience delivering training to both individuals and small groups
- Previous experience in Local Government
