About the Role
Reporting into the COO, the role of Human Resources Manager will be a critical role, with a large operational focus and broad remit covering Talent Management, Workforce Planning, Executive Coaching, Employee Relations, Performance Management and all responsibilities related to the annual HR life cycle.
It will require engaging with stakeholders across both white- and blue-collar workforces and fostering a positive, agile work environment.
You will oversee the successful recruitment project outcomes required to attract and retain the highly specialised and technical Electrical and Mechanical field staff, whose niche skillsets are highly sought after.
The role will be based working out of the Sydney office, with a minimum of twice-yearly visits to both the remote sites in Central QLD.
About You
The 'right' candidate will have the commercial acumen and corporate experience to work comfortably and strategically with the Executive team while also being able to relate to the staff at the ground level.
You will be mature, pragmatic, with a well-rounded HR generalist skillset. Ideally you will have a Resources or manufacturing background and need to be across the minimum awards and aware of the legislative changes in IR laws and their implications.
The role is full-time but highly flexible in terms of how, when and where you work (outcomes-focused, fit for purpose), able to work WFH as little or as much as needed.
