AddressSushi Sushi, Australia's largest sushi brand, is going through an exciting period of growth and we’re looking for a Human Resources Assistantto join the Support office team on a 10 month Maternity Leave contract with potential to extend!

The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager - HR (People & Payroll), this full time Maternity leave contract role will assist in providing HR support to Sushi Sushi's entire employee life cycle and actively contribute to the achievement of Sushi Sushi's strategic initiatives.
We are looking for a talented HR generalist who is eager to learn and be challenged. This is a busy, challenging but exciting role, and a great opportunity to work on interesting and rewarding projects.
The Role:
- Provide first level support to all team members on HR related matters
- Updating and maintaining Human Resources Policies and Procedures
- Preparation of employment contracts, variations of employment and maintaining HR systems - Kizuna & DocuSign
- Assist with internal employee initiatives and activities for both our Store and Support office network
- WHS; Workcover claims coordination in conjunction with GM HR
- Training coordination for our Certificate III and Certificate IV program
- Ad hoc HR administration and reporting
The Candidate:
- At least 2 years previous HR experience in a similar role
- End-to-end recruitment experience
- Proven ability to build relationships quickly and effectively at all levels
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), time management skills and attention to detail
- A team player with a sense of humour - we love a laugh!
- QSR Retail or Hospitality HR experience is a bonus
