About The Role:  

The People Assist Advisor plays a key role in the Talent Acquisition and Operations Team by supporting employees through the Employee Lifecycle, including the on-boarding, training, and off-boarding of all staff.  In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative services to support the team as part of the People and Culture team.

We are looking for someone with HR generalist or HR Coordinator experience who possesses high attention to detail, can manage competing priorities, enjoys administrative tasks and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As the role will entail working with HR and L&D systems, you will be a confident user of information systems and confident trouble-shooting system issues.  

We are excited about you because you have: 

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in human resources/business, or substantial experience in a Business Information and HR Assist environment
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to deal sensitively with employees, and effectively engage stakeholders 
  • Strong understanding of People factors that create and drive desired culture, including the ability to confidently explain the fundamental concepts of policies, procedures and processes to stakeholders
  • Experience in working across a complex matrix organisation, providing administrative support to multiple stakeholders
  • Understanding of a shared services function
  • Passionate about providing a high level of customer service
