Job description

Our story
The Victorian Foundation for Survivors of Torture Inc. (also known as Foundation House) was founded in 1987 to advance the health, wellbeing and human rights of people of refugee background who have experienced torture or other traumatic events. We have worked with over 100,000 people from more than 70 different communities and are recognised as a national leader in the provision of trauma-informed and trauma-focused service delivery.
Your impact
At Foundation House we believe that great talent is the key to quality service delivery. As our workforce is growing, your role will focus on managing the end-to-end recruitment for a diverse array of roles. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, develop effective recruitment strategies and find the expertise and experience needed to deliver safe, person centred, effective and connected care. You will also work with the team to ensure a seamless hiring and onboarding process. You will continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to improve our talent attraction practices and systems.
As we will be transitioning to a new HR system next year, your deep knowledge of best practice recruitment processes will play a crucial role in ensuring an effective transition and a successful configuration of the system. Additionally, your expertise will be valuable in training and supporting hiring managers on the usage of the new system.
What you'll need
  • Experience in end-to-end recruitment is essential
  • Demonstrated experience implementing proactive talent strategies to recruit for hard to fill roles
  • High level interpersonal skills with the ability to build strategic working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Familiarity with HR/applicant tracking systems
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and contribute to the continuous improvement of our talent acquisition processes
In return
  • A remuneration package of $98,108 + superannuation + leave loading
  • Salary packaging benefits of up to $18,550
  • Novated car leasing options
  • Role with true purpose to make a difference in people's lives
  • Welcoming, highly diverse and supportive team environment
  • Generous leave provisions with option to purchase additional leave
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for staff and family members.
