We have an excellent opportunity for a HR Specialist with demonstrated experience in a similar role to join our People & Culture Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for on-boarding, inductions and coordination of training including compliance training within the Distribution Transformer Business Unit. The position is based at our Wodonga facility, located in the Murray River area of Albury-Wodonga, reporting to the People & Culture Manager.
- Provide Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) support to People and Culture Manager as required.
- Provide support to key stakeholders of the workforce and business leaders of the Company.
- Implementation of HR/IR systems including ongoing use and maintenance.
- Workforce recruitment including advertising, interviewing, pre-employment requirements, reference checking, onboarding and induction.
- Apprenticeships – coordinate and manage recruitment and training process.
- Support employee personal/professional development.
- Training planning including sourcing and managing providers.
- Management of training system(s).
- Coordination and development of Training PDP’s.
- Competency training – ensure compliance requirements are met.
- School Holiday Program - coordinate and manage recruitment and training program.
- Workforce well-being programs /activities – develop, coordinate and maintain.
- Develop/coordinate school engagement opportunities including gap year programs and trade fairs.
- Ensure records/data are accurately created and maintained.
