A part-time, 12 month contract has become available for an experienced Human Resources/Administration Officer. The position will be approx. 20 hours per week, with the days/hours open for negotiation.
As an international company, the role requires an enthusiastic individual who is able to adapt to a wide range of responsibilities, whilst maintaining professionalism at all times. The successful candidate will be working with approx. 50 staff members on the Gold Coast.
Human Resources Responsibilities
- Provide a range of in-house HR services and relevant advice/ support to managers and staff.
- Develop and support the implementation of company policies and procedures
- Maintain HR documentation; contracts, handbooks, employee data etc.
- Administration tasks including scanning, emailing, and filing relevant HR documents.
- Plan and manage all company recruitment processes.
- Assist the company to ensure compliance with all legislation covering HR Management and Workplace Health & Safety.
- Ensure all managers and staff are aware of and provided with appropriate and realistic performance goals in line with Performance Review Processes.
- Handle internal employee requests, disputes and feedback, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Criteria
- Min. 3 years previous experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, which have successfully built relationships, driven staff engagement and positive culture.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, adhere to strict deadlines and work well under pressure.
- High attention to detail.
- Show initiative and evidence of professional problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative & to identify potential problems & resolve.
Part-time position approx. 20 hours (between the hours of 9am-5pm).
Wage rate offered based on experience and qualifications.
