Your new role
In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties will include:
- Preparation of tax returns for ANZ including BAS, FBT, GST, PAYG and payroll tax
- Complete tax and payroll related journals
- Prepare board papers and statutory financial statements
- Maintain strong internal and external relationships
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain internal controls
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a CA/CPA qualified Accountant with experience in tax accounting and exposure to payroll accounting. You will work with a hard-working, dynamic and collaborative team led by a talented Financial Controller and CFO. Advanced Excel skills, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships are key skills to be successful in this role.
