Hvac Service Manager

About the company:  A growing HVAC contractor in North West Sydney, who have recently secured multiple service and maintnenace contracts, are looking to hire a HVAC Service Manager to conbitune the growht of their Service division 

Position Overview:

As a HVAC Service Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the service department and ensuring that all customer inquiries, concerns, and requests are handled promptly and professionally. You'll lead a team of service specilalists, coordinating their efforts to meet and exceed customer expectations. Additionally, you'll endeavour to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the HVAC service and maintenance department, including scheduling, dispatching, and job assignment.
• Lead and mentor a team of HVAC technicians, providing training, guidance, and support as needed.
• Coordinate with customers to schedule service appointments, estimate project costs, and address any concerns or questions.
• Ensure that all service and maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of HVAC systems and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, work orders, and inventory levels, and prepare reports for management as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC service and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Proficiency in HVAC software and diagnostic tools, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and exceeding customer expectations.
• Valid HVAC technician license or certification

My client is looking to consider candidates who have held previous positions as a Service manager or Account Manager, or someone with a strong history of trade experience as a Service Tech and is looking to move off the tools
