Our client, a leading manufacturer of truck bodies based in Sunshine West, is seeking fitters / diesel mechanics with hydraulic experience to join their team. As pioneers in this space, they have over 80 years experience manufacturing cleaning vehicles along with a great company culture. You will have the skills & ability to complete the full process of hydraulic systems heavy vehicles. OH&S knowledge is a must. The position requirements include but are not limited to:
Hours
6.30am - 3:00pm Monday to Thursday & 6.30am- 12:30am Friday
On Offer
Up to $43 per hour negotiable depending on experience + super + overtime.
You must be either an Australian citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to apply for this position.

- Proven experience as a fitter with hydraulic experience on heavy vehicle
- Electrical exposure advantageous
- Experience with earthmoving equipment or trucking industry service side
- No fabrication required
- Experienced tradesman or 2nd class trades are encouraged to apply
- Team player with the ability to build relationships with all levels of personnel
- Can do attitude and an ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Reading & interpreting drawings
- Ability to maintain a clean work area & good organisational skills
- Following all required safety and administrative procedures
