AddressWE ARE SEEKING A TRADES QUALIFIED FITTER MACHINIST WITH A PROVEN BACKGROUND IN THE REBUILD OF HYDRAULIC PUMPS & MOTORS. THE APPLICANT SHOULD BE CONVERSANT WITH MILLING & TURNING ALONG WITH GENERAL FITTING EXPERIENCE & HYDRAULIC EXPERIENCE WORKING IN POWER UNIT ASSEMBLING.
YOUR SPECIFIC TASKS WOULD BE:
Ensure all HSE procedures are followed and all incidents are reported accordingly
- Read hydraulic schematics & detailed drawings
- Manufacture power units from information package supplied from engineering
- MIG weld, TIG weld, oxycut machine on lathe, machine on mill, bend tube, fabricate pipe.
- Work in team environment with minimal supervision.
- Consult with electricians if electrical work required in power unit.
- Required to advise any safety issues or suggestions.
- Ensure calibrated equipment is available and up to date
- Manage you labour productivity to achieve agreed targets when working on multiple jobs in parallel
The position is on a casual basis with full time hours Monday-Friday 7-4 based on 38-hour week for 6 months' work.
