CRAM Fluid Power is a diverse hydraulics business with over 25 years of history in the Illawarra Region. CRAM is a premier hydraulic specialist with a nationwide footprint that is expanding with our role in the Motion Australia business group.
To support CRAM’s ongoing growth and position within the Illawarra business, CRAM is seeking a mechanical fitter with hydraulic experience to join the Fluid Power team in Unanderra.
Responsibilities:
- Workshop and onsite repair and overhaul of hydraulic components
- Report on equipment following disassembly and inspection
- Ability to work independently and lead other tradespeople
- Reassembly and testing of equipment following repairs
- Onsite hydraulic support for Bluescope Steel and other local businesses
- Trade qualifications (Mechanical) as a Fitter, Turner & Machinist or Plant Mechanic w/ hydraulic experience
- Fitting experience with fixed and mobile plant applications
- Understanding the importance of accuracy and quality
- Fault finding and experience with fixed plant and mining equipment desirable
