Hydrogeologist/Environmental Scientist – Sydney

About the role

As a key member of our Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation team, you'll work closely with Principal Hydrogeologists, managing and delivering groundwater components for significant projects across infrastructure, transport, and renewable energy sectors.

In this role, you'll:

  • Provide hydrogeological inputs, solutions, and verification.
  • Work through the stages of various projects by spending time outdoors on project sites collecting field data, managing groundwater databases, assisting in data interpretation and then pulling all the information together in high-quality reports for our clients.

You'll receive support from our team of groundwater experts in Sydney and collaborate with specialists from various teams, expanding your professional network.

About you

To be successful, you'll need experience in groundwater field work, a keen interest in environmental assessments, and a willingness to learn from and support others in the groundwater and remediation teams. Additionally, you should have:

  • A degree in Environmental Science, focusing on hydrogeology
  • Minimum 2 years' work experience in hydrogeology
  • A current driver's license and ability to drive a manual car
  • Knowledge or experience in managing large databases (such as Esdat)
  • The ability to build effective client relationships and work collaboratively in a technical team
  • A love of the outdoors and hands-on work on site.
