THE ROLE
Your role as the Project Engineer - Civil is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of projects, from estimating and project support to meticulously compiling tender and quotation documentation. Beyond these crucial tasks, you'll play a central role in project setup, guaranteeing seamless execution from inception to completion. Your expertise in civil engineering will be indispensable as you forge key relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, navigating the complex landscape of stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive excellence throughout every phase of the project lifecycle.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (essential).
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex civil earthworks projects within a mining environment.
- Additional experience in areas such as rock and break walls, land reclamation, and ground improvement would be highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project Manager is essential.
- A full Australian driver's license is also required for this role.
- Moreover, the ideal candidate should be able to commit to a 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth, showcasing their readiness for project deployment and flexibility in work arrangements.
