Our Client, a large Federal Government Department located in the Canberra City is seeking an enthusiastic ICT Coordinator to support ICT projects within the Infrastructure Section team. This role will be supporting the coordination, scheduling, and delivery of Office Relocation Projects for the Chief Technology Officer Branch.
The role is responsible for undertaking work that is moderately complex in nature, under limited direction, utilizing expertise within the area of program administration.
Key position responsibilities include:
- Support the team via through coordination, scheduling and assisting with the delivery of ICT relocation activities;
- Engagement with the Vendor Management Office to provide assistance with contract and procurement management activities;
- Communicate with vendors and stakeholders, both internal and external;
- Experience in analysing data and other quantitative and qualitative information;
- A demonstrated ability to work autonomously and a strong commitment to working harmoniously within a team to achieve positive results and support the strategic direction.
Mandatory criteria to beconsidered for this role:
- Proven ability to support projects under a tight schedule;
- Proven ability to report on risks, issues, budget, and schedule;
- Proven ability to implement effective change control;
- Proven ability to support the team to meet the organisational timeframes;
- Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders;
- Experience in analysing data and other quantitative and qualitative information;
- Proven ability to communicate effectively whilst anticipating stakeholder needs and expectations across a geographically dispersed network;
- Ability to remain positive and respond to pressure in a calm manner, while committing energy and drive to see that goals are achieved.
