About the role
TAFE Gippsland has an exciting opportunity for an experienced ICT Systems Administrator to join the team. The ICT Systems Administrator is responsible for providing systems and server administration support across TAFE Gippsland. This includes providing systems analysis and design support to business owners.
The ICT Systems Administrator plays a critical role in managing an organisation’s information and communication technology. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities to ensure a seamless operation and security of IT infrastructure across TAFE Gippsland campuses.
Qualifications and experience
- Qualifications in post tertiary computer science/ICT qualifications and/or significant experience (5+ years) in an ICT role is essential
- Experience in ICT Systems gained in the education sector in particular the VET sector (highly desirable)
- Ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships with system owners
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent planning and organisation skills to achieve deadlines and the ability to interpret priorities when required
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Mandatory requirements
- Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
- Current Police Check (not older than 12 months old)
- A valid COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (2 doses)
- Current Driver’s Licence (travel between campuses is a requirement of the role)
