About the Role
- Learn about research, the research process, and the key components of research partnering with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, including ethical considerations and Indigenist ways of conducting research.
- Build and maintain strong community relationships to ensure high recruitment and retention of participants in the research projects and providing an important interface between the SQCoE and the Inala and Metro South Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
- Under supervision, support and guidance, assist with a range of research activities including preparing projects documents for ethical review; following research process; participant screening and recruitment; data collection (yarning, surveys, data extraction); data entry (paper and computer based); maintenance of participant files; and producing reports on activities and progress as required.
