ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting into the Talinga Facilities Superintendent the E&I Supervisor will
safely maintain Integrated Gas upstream assets, including, well surface facilities, field instrumentation, compression facilities, water treatment facilities and site utilities ensuring equipment is safe, available, and in good condition.
The position contributes through supervising and coordinating Instrumentation and Electrical maintenance activities (planned and unplanned), implementation of I&E minor changes, Low Voltage Electrical work, High Voltage Electrical work, and maintenance of instrumentation.
The successful candidate will
hold the site electrical authority including HV Co-ordinator.
More about the role;
-Provide technical advice to site regarding effective operations and maintenance
-Plan, coordinate and supervision of Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance
-Oversee HV Electrical maintenance activities and act as a HV Coordinator
-Oversee Instrumentation maintenance activities and EEHA Inspections and compliance
-Review and approve work permit and JSEA activities to ensure safe work execution
-Ensure E&I Technicians have adequate safety equipment, tooling, and test equipment to complete work effectively
-Manage annual operating budget and expenses
-Ensure compliance to Relevant Australian Standards and Relevant Queensland Acts
-Ensure compliance to the Origin Electrical Safety Standard
-Ensuring team members are licenced and competent and give authorisation to carry out maintenance
-Ensure apprentices are supervised appropriately
-Ensure E&I tooling and test equipment Is maintained
-Maintain a high-level focus on safety, environment and reputation
-Act as a Site Emergency Response Team (SEMT) member
-Interface with major maintenance and project teams when E&I work Is being completed on Talinga Orana Assets

Essential requirements
-QLD Electrical Trade Licence
-Formal High Voltage Qualification
-Formal qualification in Instrumentation
-EEHA qualification and experience
-Experience in testing, commissioning & maintenance of electrical and instrument equipment in a hazardous area
-8 + years’ experience
-Experience with working within a Permit to Work System.
-Experience in interpreting electrical schematics, circuit diagrams and P&ID’s
-Sound understanding of Health Safety and Environmental practices
