Additional Information:
• We have a variety of Permanent Part-time roles ranging between 24, 30 and 40hrs/fortnight.
• As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts.
• You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
RECRUITMENT PROCESS

• If your application is progressed, you will be invited to a an in-person Group Assessment Centre on Tuesday 16 April 2024.
• If your application is successful, you will be required to attend a 2-day Welcome induction on Monday 29 April 2024.
About this work area
As an IKEA Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
• Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth.
• Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
We are looking for co-workers in the following areas:
Logistics (Inflow)
• Availability from 5:00am up to 10:00am.
• Picking and loading the daily replenishment for the store
• Replenishing your assigned area to ensure it is fully stocked and available for customers.
• Using inventory systems to ensure stock availability is as accurate as possible.
• Ensuring IKEA SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) rules and guidelines are followed throughout the process to ensure the safety of both customers and co-workers.
Customer Service
• Availability from 8:30am up to 8:30pm.
• Greeting visitors to IKEA by providing friendly, effective, and efficient information for customers.
• Securing that all products passing through the entrance are paid for.
• Supporting other areas of Customer Relations including resolving customer service issues, maintaining shopping tools (shopping baskets, trolleys, and yellow bags) and catalogues.
• Supporting customers booking their home delivery and collecting their click and collect.
• Processing returns and resolving customer issues, recognising when to escalate to someone with higher authorization.
• Handling cash and card payments in a reliable, efficient, accurate and friendly way.
• Recording information accurately in the system so we can continually make improvements to the customer shopping experience.
• Ensuring customers have a positive final touchpoint during the IKEA shopping experience.
Sales
• Analysing sales space capacities based on system parameters to secure high stock availability.
• Combine your positive attitude and exceptional customer service to provide product advice and memorable in-store experiences to our customers.
• Being an expert and passionate about the IKEA range; and actively learning about their features and benefits.
• Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced.
